Sizes are not exact because these samples are cut from scraps and ends of rolls. About the Fabric: Sturdy and affordable 100% hemp fabric for all your projects. This 8 ounce hemp canvas is strong but light-weight, but has a thicker and sturdier feel than you might expect from 8 oz. cotton canvas. For reference it feels almost as thick as the denim of a pair of jeans, but not quite. Maybe more like a pair of painters pants or Dickies®. This fabric is NOT pre-shrunk. You will need to wash, dry, and press before cutting any patterns, as there is a decent amount of shrinkage the first time it is washed and dried. After that it is very stable with no additional shrinkage evident in our testing and experience. You will loose about 7% of your cut fabric length to shrinkage — but that also means your thickness increases and the weave becomes tighter. We intend to gradually add more colors to inventory.
